Story
Based on my 'album', "The Tale of Stargazer", it's the story of a crew member from Kanzi ru Miso, the first interstellar ship from the habitants of Sol-III, in a distant future. In it's maiden voyage, there was an accident, and the ship was lost.
People of Sol-III, currently known as Earth, gave up interstellar travel after that, and all research towards space exploration was used to explore the Sol system.
But then, an ancient ship, centuries old, arrives at the Sol system. This ship brings an interesting story...
Crew member and the ship's computers, working together to accomplish their goal: to get back home.
These computers, Kanzi and Miso (namesake of the ship), seem to be more than just computers. No one knows if that's real, or it was just Stargazer's bias in their logs....
But that's just the version of the people of Sol-III. To see what happened, according to Stargazer, be sure to play the game!

Behind the scenes
This is my fifth attempt at making a Stargazer game. The ASCII art style for the "Ship's map" (which is not working properly at the moment) comes from one of these attempts, the Batch text-adventure "Terminal", from early 2019 (prototype never released).
My other attempts were with Unity, another text-adventure using Python, and Godot. The programming syntax was dissuasive, so when I found GB Studio, I struck gold (no, this isn't sponsored, or anything). It is still code, but easier to deal with (for me).
If you've seen this game before, there's an explanation. After my departure from my previous game dev group, the game, my personal project, once under their brand, is now on my own page.
